“I think Book 2 will be the final book!” -MiniToon

Creator of Piggy MiniToon says he will quit developing the main Piggy Game and move on to Piggy: Intercity

Piggy created by MiniToon is a game based off Resident Evil where theirs an infection and you must find keys to escape the building and monsters, but MiniToon created an open world game called Piggy: Intercity and released it as a demo the game just had a big map and buildings from previous Piggy games, with MinToon hinting at side quest releasing soon.

While the main Piggy game has 38K concurrent players, Piggy: Intercity has 700 concurrent players. The main Piggy game gets level updates by chapters and a complete game/book ends at 12 chapters/12 levels. Piggy is currently at Book 2 Chapter 8 with the end of the book coming soon. However it looks like once book 2 ends MiniToon will work on Intercity with a tweet made by the official Piggy News account.

Weekly MiniToon goes on a show where in Roblox where fans can ask questions and one question was "when will you stop working on Piggy" MiniToon's response was

"I think Book 2 will be the final book!" he said. This however does not mean he'll abandon Piggy he will actually be working on Intercity and expanding the storyline there. A fan replies to the tweet by saying "I'm pretty sure he won't quit like that" with the Piggy News account saying Of course not! Intercity will become the main Piggy experience. Build mode will also keep being updated.

Overall it looks like Piggy Intercity fans are in for a treat however some speculate weather or not Intercity will do better then the main Piggy game but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
